Karen's Art

Living in the small community of Morton put people in my life who enriched it beyond measure. Marilyn Dewbre the art teacher overheard me say, "I wish I could paint," and thus began a transformation.

The gift of art is a gift for seeing the world, not in the symbolic way we are taught but by stripping it to its atomic level you will see things you never saw before. Did you know you can see green in a sky? That is only one of the things I leared from Ms. Marilyn. These are roughly in the order in which I painted them, so hopefully the improve as you move through the list.
